Fundraiser to build a catholic church in Ban Phonesavan Lao PDR

The catholic community in Ban PHONESAVAN Fuang district in the Lao PDR rapidly growing community, The LAO Front is a rapidly growing community. The Lao front and the people of the KHMU have been practicing the catholic belief since 1952. The community originaly came from Xiengkhouang province. In 1967, we moved from Xiengkhuang provinceto the village of Ban Naluang, in Xaysomboun. There tha community had built a church, school and other buildings. However, from there the community got removed and resettled due to a hydropower project in Xaysomboun province in 2008. Today, over 6.000 people live in Ban Phonseavan Fuang district, with 648 people being catholic.
Currently, the khmu people at Ban Phonesavan are building their permanent accommodations and are rebuilding the community in the new location. As a result, the community would also like to build a permanent church for the community which consists of mainly farmers. Over the last three years , the community planned this project and applied for the necessary permission from the Vientiane Governor. The approval was received in may 2015. The plan for the church envisages a 28 meter long and 14 meter wide to be build. However, in order to finish the project and establish a permanent church for the community, your help is needed.
